Lena Vardy was born in Moscow, Russia, but she grew up in Georgia – no, not the U.S. state, but a small country in Europe. It’s a very beautiful country with wonderful music. And all Georgian people love to sing. So Lena was singing since she can remember and she always wanted to be a singer.
Lena started drama school at 18 in Tbilisi, Georgia and became an actress. She worked in the theaters in Georgia and Russia, but all those theaters were musical theaters so she never stopped singing. When she moved to Moscow she joined the puppet theater as well, so Lena became a puppeteer. And Lena’s puppets sang with her.
When Lena recently moved to the U.S., she answered an ad for a singer for a new band. So now Lena is here, singing for you!
